LaPorte County Career and Technical Education invites business and industry professionals to the annual Future Careers Expo, taking place on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the A.K. Smith Career Center, 817 Lafayette Street, Michigan City, IN.
This exciting event is a prime opportunity to support the career readiness of students from across LaPorte County. Volunteers are needed for mock employment interviews, as well as to host exhibit tables at the expo. These efforts help students gain valuable experience, explore career opportunities, and build confidence for their future careers.
Event Schedule:

AM Session: 7:45 AM – 9:25 AM

PM Session: 11:45 AM – 2:00 PM
We are especially seeking professionals in the fields of automotive, welding, and manufacturing, but all industries are welcome to participate. Businesses and professionals can engage with students through:

Mock Interviews: Help students practice their interview skills and provide constructive feedback.

Exhibit Tables: Showcase your organization, highlight job opportunities, and demonstrate industry skills.
